Autostichidae

The Autostichidae are a small family, mainly Indo-Australian of the super-family Gelechioidea. It includes genera that had been placed in Gelechiidae, Xyloryctidae or Symmocidae. The taxonomy is still disputed. Characteristics of this family are the smooth scaled head; filiform antenna; folded, scaled maxillary palps.
